Tighten your facial skin. Look 10 years with Ultherapy. Ultherapy is a nonsurgical procedure that tightens skin on the face and neck. Call us to learn more about how we can help you choose the best treatment to give you a more youthful appearance.
Ultherapy uses ultrasound rays to stimulate the production of collagen which is the body's own skin repair/skin tightening agent. It lifts the eyebrows, neck and under the chin. Ultherapy has been approved by the FDA. We have board certified to help you tighten your skin and look your best.
In Ultherapy treatment, ultrasound waves are pressed against the skin with a hand held device which allows for deep penetration of the skin and stimulates the production of collagen, the body's natural skin tightening agent. Ultrasound therapy is different from laser light therapy in that ultrasound can go deeper into the skin than laser spectrum light, without causing damage. Treatments last 60-90 minutes for the face and neck. Approximately 30 minutes for the chest. Typically only one treatment is required. However, as the skin ages additional treatments may be desired to maintain your appearance. Consult with your dermatologist for the best plan for you.

Am I a good candidate for Ultherapy treatment?
If you have loose skin around your eyebrows, neck, under the chin, face, and decolletage (the low neckline just below the clavicle or collar bone.) then you may be a good candidate for Ultherapy. Ultherapy is for older people with sagging skin. It generally is not used to correct blemishes, acne scars or scars in general.
You should expect tighter skin and a more youthful appearance. Directly after the treatment there may be some redness but this should disappear after a few hours. There may also be some slight swelling and tenderness to the touch. These symptoms are usually temporary. If they persist contact your dermatologist immediately. There is no downtime after Ultherapy treatment, so you can resume your daily routine immediately.
Ultherapy treatment costs range from $2000-$3000 for one session. Usually only one session is needed to achieve positive results.

Moles are skin growths composed of pigment cells. While certain moles may be considered pre-cancerous, others are benign. Depending on their size or location, moles can be beauty marks or distracting lumpy lesions. If located in areas of rubbing or shaving, moles may become infected or irritated. Our doctors’ training and years of experience insure effective mole removal with a focus on minimizing scarring and maximizing the aesthetic result.
ABCDE's of moles
Most people have brown spots on their skin in one location or another. These may be birthmarks, moles, or sun related spots called lentigos. Many of these are normal, but some may be suspicious for skin cancer. The ABCDE’s of melanoma are important to watch out for: Asymmetry, Border irregularity, Color variability, Diameter larger than a pencil eraser, and Evolution (or change over time.)
Benign moles may sometimes become bothersome due to irritation or tenderness. Clothing or hair brushing may irritate moles located in the underarms or on the scalp. There are multiple methods for removal best discussed in person; these range from superficial shave removals to excisions using deep and superficial sutures.
Depending on the lesion or location, stitches may or may not be necessary. Following standard of care protocols, all removed moles are submitted for analysis to rule out the possibility of skin cancer. Doctors provide a thorough examination of moles, comprehensive discussion and efficient treatment. Depending on the size and location of a mole, it may be possible to remove the lesion on the same visit as the initial consultation.
